Q: What is Monoammonium phosphate?

A: Our MAP is a fully water-soluble mono-potassium phosphate (12-61-00) fertilizer, a highly efficient source of phosphorus and nitrogen for plants.
Ammonium dihydrogen phosphate has been an important phosphate fertilizer for many years. Monoammonium phosphate is completely water-soluble and generally is applied in granular form. Ammonium dihydrogen phosphate is commonly used in the formulation of suspension fertilizers. As a granular material monoammonium phosphate mixes well with other fertilizers and frequently serves as an ingredient in bulk-blended fertilizers.
